The fundamental concerns that structured cabling solutions must address are reliability, manageability, scalability, and flexibility. A well-planned structured network cabling infrastructure will typically be utilized for more than 20 years and will have to be operational through several iterations of system equipment solutions as multiple generations of protocol data rate increases. We employ Registered Communication Distribution Designers (RCDD), a certification of BICSI, for individuals qualified to consult and design.
